Not every dog needs a full three-week board and train—and not every owner wants to be apart that long. Guided Beginnings is a flexible, collaborative training program designed for puppies, adolescents, or adult dogs who need a jump start on the basics.
We start with a 5-day board and train focused on building structure and foundational skills, followed by three months of bi-weekly private lessons (6 total) to guide you through real-world practice and progress at home.

Our Home-School Program is perfect for families who want professional guidance without sending their dog away. This format combines targeted one-on-one training for your dog with hands-on instruction for you, so you both build skills and confidence together.

The Coaching Membership is a good fit for families who want regular guidance, accountability, and room to adjust as life happens. It offers a balance of professional support and personal involvement, without the pressure of a fixed schedule.
Each month includes two in-person lessons and two virtual check-in calls, with flexibility to reschedule as needed. Members also receive a written lesson summary within 48 hours of each in-person session to help reinforce learning and track progress over time.

The Tailored Training Stay is a fully customized board and train experience designed for families who want a well-mannered, responsive dog at home and in public. Your dog will live in our home for three weeks while receiving hands-on, daily training based on your specific goals.

Not Suited For: dogs who struggle with severe separation anxiety, resource guarding, aggression, or reactivity. Severe behavior cases require more time and consistency than this option.

General Disclaimer
We welcome reactive dogs and consider dogs with a bite history on a case-
by-case basis. For these cases, we require an in-person evaluation to ensure the best fit for our
training programs. Evaluations are $150 and, if you decide to move forward, the fee will be
applied toward your chosen program. If you choose not to continue, the evaluation fee is non-
refundable.
