Silver Program

A monthly coaching option for task work, public access, and early foundations.

The Silver Program is a coaching-based training track designed for owner-trainers who want structured support with room to grow at their own pace. Each month includes two in-person lessons and two virtual check-ins.

This program is also a good fit for puppies under 7 months or green adolescent dogs who need foundational obedience and socialization before advancing into service work. For dogs who already have their foundations, this is also a great option to begin building or refining task training and public access work.

What's Included:
  • 2 in-person lessons per month

  • 2 virtual check-in calls per month

  • Task training, public access work, or obedience/socialization (as needed)

  • Optional:

    • Expedition Paws Service Dog In-Training Vest Set – $60

    • CGC/CGCA/CGCU Testing – $30 for first test, $5 each additional

Program Price: $375/month

Gold Program

A structured blend of board and train + coaching for public access and task training.

The Gold Program starts with a 3-week board and train focused on obedience, public access, and task foundations. After your dog returns home, you'll receive 10 private lessons (every other week) to continue building public access reliability, strengthen tasks, and improve team communication.

For puppies under 7 months or dogs without the basics, the board and train will focus on foundation work like regulation skills, problem solving, and independent thinking, with public access and task training layered in throughout the board and train and during private lessons.

What's Included:

  • 3-week board and train

  • 10 private lessons (bi-weekly)

  • Expedition Paws Service Dog In-Training vest, leash wrap, chest strap, and training collar (if needed)

  • Access to dedicated google drive folder where training session from B&T are uploaded throughout stay so you can follow along with your dog's training

  • Structured visitation access throughout B&T stay

  • Access to Alumni Services (group classes, boarding, etc.)

  • Optional:

    • CGC/CGCA/CGCU Testing – $30 for first test, $5 each additional

Guided Beginnings Program

A hybrid-style training option for young or green dogs starting their service dog journey.

This hybrid-style program is a good fit for owner-trainers seeking help with foundational regulation, early obedience, and public access readiness—without committing to a full board and train just yet.

We begin with a 5-day board and train to lay groundwork for leash skills, engagement, and obedience foundations. Then we continue with six bi-weekly private lessons over three months to guide you and your dog through structured skill development in real-world settings.

During this program, we focus on:

  • Tethering and regulation work (calmness, neutrality, and decision-making)

  • Basic obedience positions and commands: sit, down, come, leave it

  • Early impulse control and intro to environmental neutrality

  • Introduction to calm engagement in pet-friendly public settings

  • Skill prep to support future task training

  • Owner education and real-time coaching throughout the program

What's Included:
  • 5-day board and train focused on foundational service dog prep

  • 6 private lessons (bi-weekly over 3 months)

  • Shared Google Drive folder with training videos and lesson summaries

Best suited for: Puppies and adolescents preparing for future public access and task work—dogs should be emotionally stable and socially neutral, without major behavior concerns

Platinum Program

A comprehensive board and train + long-term coaching for support, no matter where you are in your journey.

The Platinum Program offers the highest level of support for owner-handler teams, combining immersive board and train with long-term coaching to build both confidence and consistency. It's a strong way to begin your training journey and is especially valuable during key developmental stages—such as adolescence, task generalization, and the transition to complex public environments.

Your dog will stay for six weeks to build solid skills on every front, from public access to advanced obedience and problem solving skills. Then we'll spend the next 6 months having bi-weely lessons to help you navigate challenges, strengthen teamwork, and continue progressing at home and in real-world settings.

Foundation and socialization work are fully integrated for younger dogs or those without prior obedience experience, ensuring your dog is ready to grow into their role.

  • 12 private lessons (bi-weekly)

  • Expedition Paws Service Dog In-Training vest, leash wrap, chest strap, and training collar (if needed)

  • Access to Alumni Services (group classes, weekend boarding, and more)

  • Optional:

    • CGC/CGCA/CGCU Testing – $30 for first test, $5 each additional

General Disclaimer

While every dog's journey looks different, we do not accept dogs with a bite history or any history of aggression for service dog training. If you are unsure if your dog is fit for service work, we offer in-person evaluations for $150. If your dog successfully passes our evaluation, the fee will be applied toward your chosen program. If your dog is ineligible for service work, the evaluation may be applied to pet dog training with us, however the fee is non-refundable.
